Dr Dimitris Tsoukalas is a leading expert in the application of Metabolomics and Nutritional Medicine in chronic and autoimmune conditions.

Graduated from the Universita’ degli Studi di Napoli, Federico II, Medical School, in 1991.
Completed his specialization in General & Family Medicine at the Hippokration University Hospital in 2000.
Completed the Harvard Medical School Update Course in General & Internal Medicine for subspecialist in 2013.
He was awarded the highest recognition and Honorable Mention by the Greek Ministry of Health, for his contribution in primary health care.
He is currently the President of the European Institute of Nutritional Medicine. The E.I.Nu.M. has produced the first course of Nutritional Medicine based on the science of Metabolomics. The course awards 30 Continuing Medical Education Credits and is based on Dr. Tsoukalas book "How to leave 150 Years in Health.”
Was a member of the scientific council of Farsight Bioscience together with Prof. Dr Andrew David Miller of Kings College London. The FB is a biotechnology research company in Metabolic Disorders, Inflammatory and Cardiovascular Diseases. The Farsight Bioscience was awarded as the best biotechnology company in 2011 in Western Europe.
Dr. Tsoukalas has collaborated and collaborates with biotechnology research centers and scientists such as Dr. W. Andrews, Ph.D, who discovered the enzyme telomerase (see Nobel Prize for Medicine 2009); the Spectracell Laboratory in Houston, U.S., that carried out in collaboration with the Texas University pioneering molecular biology tests that achieved the measurement of biological parameters within human cells; the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) certified lab for Metabolic Disorders, Neolab; the Pharmacyclics American biopharmaceutical company that produced the first patient-friendly anticancer drug; the Faculty of Medicine University of Crete, toxicology department; the KEADD that delivers masters for practiotioners in nutritional disorders.
He has more than twenty years of clinical experience in the management of chronic diseases and is the first doctor in Europe that applied metabolomics in a large scale in clinical practice. He is currently running three clinics for Chronic Diseases and Metabolic Disorders in Switzerland, Italy and Greece.
He has broad publications in the subject of metabolomics and their application in clinical practise.
Dr. Tsoukalas has appeared in National TV, on issues related to autoimmunity, nutritional medicine, chronic diseases, and prevention. His articles are frequently published in the scientific and news press.
In 2013 Dr. Tsoukalas launched the first an online course for medical doctors to train in the use of metabolomic analysis in the clinical practise.
In 2013 he published his first book entitled "How to Live 150 Years In health" which is translated in english, italian and german language.
Dr. Tsoukalas runs currently three clinics for autoimmune and chronic diseases in Milan, Treviso, Athens and Zurich.
